A man has been remanded in custody after allegedly being found in possession of a number of offensive weapons.
Eric Cox, of Marryat Terrace, is also alleged to have possessed heroin in a public place.
The 40-year-old appeared in private before Sheriff George Way at Dundee Sheriff Court on a petition alleging that he possessed diamorphine on Provost Road on Friday.
It is also alleged that he possessed an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a box cutter, at Caird Park on Saturday.
He is further alleged to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, threatened violence towards staff and caused them fear or alarm at Morrisons supermarket on the same date and possessed a large lock knife at Caird Park on the same date.
Cox is further accused of possessing an offensive weapon, namely a multi tool with a blade, a small Swiss Army knife, a screwdriver, a brick and a small locking knife at Caird Park on the same date.
He is also alleged to have assaulted an unknown member of the public by throwing a brick at them at the same location on the same date.
All of the alleged offences were said by prosecutors to have been committed while Cox was on three bail orders.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody while the case was continued.
