
Insurance giant Aviva has moved to increase its shareholding in its Indian joint venture.
The group has snapped up an additional 23% share in Aviva Life Insurance Company India Limited from partner Dabur Invest Corp.
The move follows recent regulatory changes allowing Aviva to increase its shareholding to 49%, the maximum permitted under India’s foreign direct investment limits.
