Maura Higgins tells Curtis Pritchard that she “likes everything” about him as they go on their final date together on Love Island.

In Thursday’s episode of the reality show, three of the couples are whisked away for their last romantic one-on-ones before the finale next week.

Maura and Curtis’ romance was rocked in Wednesday’s episode after Curtis gave former contestant Jordan Hames advice about speaking to India Reynolds while in a relationship with Anna Vakili, with Maura questioning his integrity.

However, the pair appear closer than ever on their date, with Maura telling Curtis: “I know I don’t tell you a lot of the time that I like you, but I really do.

“You’re funny and I love your smile. When you smile, I smile.

“I like everything about you.”

Curtis replies: “I literally don’t know what to say.”

Ovie Soko and India, and Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, are also seen going on their final dates in the episode.

Ovie tells India – who joined the programme just over a week ago – that he did not expect to find a partner in the villa.

He says: “At one point, it looked like I wasn’t going to be in a romantic couple at all. I felt like I just had the role of the guardian angel over Amber.

“When I walked into that date, you stood out to me so clear. It really changed the whole experience for me. It’s brightened up my days.”

India tells him: “I came in to meet someone but I didn’t expect to meet someone and get on with them and like them as much as I like you.”

Amber and Greg, who formed a romance following Amber’s heartbreak over ex-partner and former islander Michael Griffiths, have their date on a yacht out at sea.

“I’m just so happy to be here with you, I feel really fortunate to have come in and met you,” Greg says.

Amber replies: “When we first met, I had an instant connection and that is something that I never get. I felt it straight away and I was just hoping you felt the same.”

Wednesday’s episode saw a double dumping, with Jordan and Anna, and Chris Taylor and Harley Brash, booted from the show following a public vote.

The remaining couples, which include Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague and Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan, are hoping to win the series and a £50,000 cash prize.

Love Island continues on ITV2.
