Janis Solovjovs, 32, of Priory Court, Forfar, admitted assaulting a youth worker and a 16-year-old at the Pitstop centre on the town’s Academy Street.
Pizza delivery driver Solovjovs and a friend had been walking past the centre when they offered drink to a group standing outside but the incident took a nasty turn when the 32-year-old became aggressive after a youth worker tried to move them on.
The court previously heard the Latvian national pushed the teenager on the chest and grabbed the youth worker by the wrist before grabbing his breast and twisting it.
Police were called and when charged with assaulting the teenager Solovjovs replied: “If I did that I’m sorry about that.”
Defence agent Billy Rennie said his client’s recollection was “not the best” but he was sorry over the incident.
Sheriff Pino Di Emidio imposed a six-month community payback order with 80 hours of unpaid work.
