Man arrested after Broughty Ferry woman Katy Rourke, 25, dies in Glasgow

A man has been arrested by police investigating the death of a young Broughty Ferry woman in Glasgow.
Police said Katy Rourke, 25, was found dead in a flat in Minto Street in the Govan area of the city at around 5.05pm on Wednesday.
Officers later confirmed a 26-year-old man has been arrested and detained in police custody.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Detective Chief Inspector Allan Burton had earlier said detectives were studying CCTV footage and he urged members of the public to come forward with information.
“Officers have been conducting door-to-door enquiries and we are gathering and reviewing CCTV footage to gain additional information as part of this ongoing investigation,” he said.
“If anyone has any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please do pass it on to police.”
