Police, three fire crews and an ambulance were scrambled to Court Street at around 8.40am to deal with the blaze. There were no serious injuries and police said they were not treating the incident as suspicious. A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We were called to a fire at 8.40am in Court Street. “There were three appliances in attendance. “Two breathing apparatus were used and the flats were ventilated. “All people were accounted for. “The ambulance service was in attendance and people were treated for smoke inhalation.” A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman added: “We received an emergency call at 8.40am from the fire service. “Two casualties were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation but were not taken to hospital.” The cause of the fire is unclear.
