Police believe burnt out car found in Fife was used to commit crimes

Police in Fife believe that a burnt out car have been used by criminals to commit other crimes.
The red Audi A4 saloon was discovered in the Braefoot Bay area of Aberdour on Tuesday.
The shell of the vehicle was on the road approaching the jetty and police believe that it may have been destroyed to disguise its role as part of a criminal enterprise.
Officers are now appealing for anybody with information to come forward and help with their investigations.
Detective Sergeant Kieran Marsh of Dunfermline CID said: “We suspect this vehicle may have been used to commit other crimes in the area and we’re keen to hear from anyone with information that can help us with our inquiries.
“Anyone with information is asked to please contact us on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
