Perthshire’s Enchanted Forest attracted record numbers to its sound and light show.
The 2015 run, which ended on Sunday, saw 62,000 people travel to Faskally Wood, up 33% on the previous year.
The impact on the local tourism economy is expected to be around £2.75 million per year, with more than 50% of all visitors to the event choosing to stay overnight in the area and 90% citing the event as their main reason for visiting the area this autumn.
Despite extending their run to accommodate increased demand, the event still sold out of all tickets by October 18.
More than 4,000 people who did not get tickets for this year’s show have signed up to an advance notice list to buy tickets for 2016.
