Dundee University DRIVE team receive support from around the world

Dundee University’s student motor-racing team have thanked well-wishers from around the world who have sent messages of support for their injured teammate.
Joseph Purslow (19), from Cumbria, remains in a ”critical but stable” condition after brain surgery at Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
He was injured in a crash at Knockhill racing circuit on Tuesday while at the wheel.
News of the accident spread quickly through the racing community and the DRIVE Facebook page has been inundated with messages of sympathy and best wishes from as far afield as India, the USA and Australia.
Adelaide University’s motorsport team said: ”Our thoughts are with DRIVE we hope the driver recovers quickly.”
IIT Bombay Racing and UTA Racing, Texas, echoed these sentiments.
Dundee University will look into the circumstances of the accident before making a decision on the team’s future.
