Victoria Beckham says her son Brooklyn has worked washing dishes in a cafe for two years to instil “a good work ethic”.
Despite his mum and dad, former footballer David, being worth an estimated +£300 million, the teenager was sent out to ear his pocket money to keep him grounded.
Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in the US, fashion designer Victoria also revealed her daughter Harper enjoys playing football.
DeGeneres asked the former Spice Girl about Brooklyn and his part-time job.
Beckham said: “Yeah, he’s worked in the local cafe washing up dishes for the past two years, which I think is great. You know, for me and David, we work a lot, but the kids are everything to us.
“And we’re very, very present. And I think it’s important that the kids have a good work ethic and, you know, try to help other people as well.”
Speaking about their three-year-old daughter Harper, she said: “She’s amazing. All the kids are amazing. I mean, they’re really good kids. You know, they work hard at school. They’re happy, they’re funny.
“They’re just really good kids. And she’s so great. And the boys are great with her.
“She’s a little tomboy. You know, she loves to wear little dresses, but then she loves to put her football boots on and get in the garden with her brothers and have a bit of rough and tumble, which I think is great.”
The couple also have 12-year-old Romeo and 10-year-old Cruz.
