Dundee United warned to expect a rejuvenated Hamilton Accies

Dundee United have been warned that Hamilton will rediscover their fighting spirit for Saturday’s Scottish Cup fifth-round clash.
The Accies were lacklustre against St Johnstone in midweek, by striker Mikael Antoine-Curier’s own admission. But the former Dundee man has insisted that they will rediscover their hunger at the weekend.
He pointed out, “We knew going to St Johnstone would be a battle, but I didn’t think we were up for the scrap. We didn’t show the passion and anger we needed to.
“We have new players and they did well but as a team we need to get it back together for the Dundee United game on Saturday, and I’m sure we will.
“Cup games are just as important to us as league games and we will need to score goals and defend properly.
“A victory against United would maybe spur us on to pick up more points in the league as well.”
