Dundee United manager Mixu Paatelainen is still waiting to learn his fate following the dramatic Dundee derby.
SFA compliance officer Tony McGlennan will decide whether or not the Finn will be punished for gesturing towards Dundee fans following the Tangerines’ stoppage-time equaliser at Tannadice on Sunday.
He later said: “I can understand Dundee supporters giving us stick there’s no problem at all. That’s part and parcel of the game and I can handle that no worries at all.
“What I can’t understand is the stewards not doing their job.”
While the Finn has been offered plenty of sympathy even from some Dundee supporters there is a danger that he will fall foul of the governing body’s disciplinary rules.
