Raith Rovers midfielder Kevin Moon is unlikely to feature against Livingston on Saturday, although it is through injury not suspension.
Moon picked up his sixth yellow card of the season in Tuesday night’s goalless draw with Dundee and has reached the disciplinary points threshold.
However, the SFA confirmed his automatic one-match ban will not kick in until Tuesday, April 1 14 days after the booking that tipped the player over the limit.
The 26-year-old may still not figure in manager Grant Murray’s plans for the weekend after an injury forced him off at Dens Park and he remains a doubt, although there looks to be better news for defender Paul Watson, who also failed to see out the 90 minutes in midweek.
Watson, who recently returned from a broken foot, had to be helped from the park just before the interval of Tuesday’s fixture after taking a bad kick to the same foot.
However, Rovers have given the centre-half’s injury time to settle and he could yet make the squad for the game at Stark’s Park.
Striker Calum Elliot is also expected to be available following his injury lay-off, meaning that Moon and long-term casualty goalkeeper David McGurn are likely to be the only absentees.
Former Rover Simon Mensing had been hoping to make a winning return to Kirkcaldy with Livingston this weekend but the no-nonsense central defender has been ruled out through suspension.
