VIDEO: Bryce Hosie’s RBS try of the month for Dundee HSFP

The RBS Try of the Month award for September has been awarded to Dundee HSFP full-back Bryce Hosie.

The New Zealander, enjoying his first season at Mayfield, scored his fantastic individual try in Dundee’s 15-36 defeat away to Watsonians in the RBS National League.

From a counter-attack deep in his own half, Hosie managed to execute two chip-kicks, winning the chase and finishing in spectacular fashion underneath the opposition sticks.

He said: “I was delighted when I was told I had won the award, it was a complete surprise to me. It’s definitely something to tell my friends back home about.

“We believe we can finish in the top two and challenge for a Premiership spot next year.”
