The daughter of murdered Perth aid worker David Haines says her family will not get closure until there is a “bullet between the eyes” of her father’s killer.
It comes after reports said so-called ‘Jihadi John’ is former London student Mohammed Emwazi.
Mr Haines’ eldest daughter, 17-year-old Perth Academy pupil Bethany, said in a television interview: “Once he’s captured I think there will be a lot of happy faces.”
Mr Haines’ second wife Dragana, who lives in Croatia with their four-year-old daughter, called for his murderer to be brought to justice.
She said: “I hope he (Emwazi) will be caught alive.
“That will be the only moral satisfaction for the families of all the people who he murdered.”
The 44-year-old added: “If he was killed in action, then that would be an honourable death for him and that is the last thing I would actually want for someone like him.”
