08.11.14 - Scottish Professional Football League 2 match between Arbroath and Queens Park at Gayfield, Arbroath - action from the game - l to r - Dylan Carreiro (Arbroath) and Ciaran McElroy (Queens Park)
Arbroath’s interim manager Todd Lumsden reckons that on-loan Dundee midfielder Dylan Carreiro is bouncing back into form at the right time.
The 20-year-old Canadian was a stand-out when the Red Lichties raced into the lead in League Two in the first half of the season, however he has struggled along with the rest of the Gayfield men during 2015.
Lumsden saw signs in the 1-1 draw with Albion Rovers that the midfielder was back to his best.
He said: “Dylan was more like the way he played in the opening half of the season on Saturday. He helped set up our goal and always looked dangerous going forward.
“His fitness is getting better all the time and hopefully he can go on and have a very positive impact in the play-offs that start next week against Queen’s Park.”
