Stranraer match will give East Fife fans the chance to remember the glory days

East Fife fans can pay homage to some of the club’s former stars at Saturday’s home game against Stranraer.
All of the surviving members of the 1970-71 squad, the last East Fife team to be promoted to the top tier of Scottish football, will attend a reunion this weekend and be paraded at half-time.
Manager Pat Quinn is due to be in attendance, along with other squad members including Davie Gorman, Doug Soutar, Davie Clarke, Peter McQuade, Alex Jamieson, Walter Borthwick, John Martis, Rab Cairns, Bertie Miller, John Bernard, Joe Hughes, Jimmy Finlayson, Graham Honeyman, Brian McNicol, Billy McPhee, Doug Dailey, John Brown and first-team coach George Dewar.
The group will meet for lunch before the game and will also meet supporters after the match.
