The new owners of a Highland Perthshire holiday park have announced a significant investment programme.
J&S McKenzie Group, owned by father and son team John and Steven McKenzie, have acquired Moness Resort and Aberfeldy Caravan Park for an undisclosed sum.
Set in 35 acres of grounds, Moness Resort consists of 106 self-catering cottages, a four star hotel and leisure facilities.
Director John McKenzie said the upgrade programme would last for the next two years.
He said: “The project will commence with the upgrading of cottages throughout the resort.
“This will also allow us to introduce new dog friendly cottages, increase the number of the popular three bedroom cottages and add hot tubs that will take in the views of the surrounding countryside.
“Within the hotel, we will build on the refurbishment program carried out in 2016 with the creation of a fresh new family-friendly restaurant and bar over-looking the swimming pool.”

He said the work would take a phased approach to avoid disturbing guests.
“It will still be business as usual at the hotel during the refurbishment, as our architects and designers have carefully planned a phased approach to the transformation to avoid disturbance to our guests,” he added.
Established for almost 30 years, Moness employs more than 100 people.
The new owners said they hoped the investment in the estate would help to grow the business.
Steven McKenzie added: “This is a business that’s close to our hearts. We understand what makes Moness special and distinctive and we’re excited to take responsibility for its future growth.”
The resort is fully licensed to host civil weddings and civil partnerships.
