A 38-year-old will stand trial accused of hitting a child with a mobility scooter while under the influence of drink or drugs.
Eric Stewart, of Brewery Lane, is alleged to have driven carelessly on Murraygate on August 10 and collided with the child, injuring the youngster in the process. He also denies failing to provide a sample of urine.
Sheriff Tom Hughes fixed a trial for May 17 with an intermediate diet on April 25.
