Drinnan admitted that on June 10, on various roads in Dundee including St Giles Terrace, Dayton Drive and elsewhere, he drove while disqualified. Sheriff John Rafferty pointed out he had five previous convictions for the same offence and told him there was no alternative to a jail sentence.
