Thomas Cassidy, 31, of Chalkhill Court, had sentence deferred until July 25 at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Cassidy admitted that on June 2, at Longtown Road, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner and engaged in a fight, along with two other people.
He further admitted that on the same date, at Bellisle Drive, he resisted arrest by PC Dean Morrison, refused to comply with police instructions, struggled with officers and refused to desist.
Cassidy also admitted that on the same date at the same place, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, shouted, swore and issued verbal threats to police officers of a threatening and abusive nature.
Sheriff Derek Reekie deferred sentence until July 25.
Cassidy was granted bail meantime.
