A woman has admitted defrauding the Department for Work and Pensions out of £18,000.
Jaclyn Petterson, 35, of Dronley Avenue, Muirhead, Angus, admitted falsely obtaining working tax and child tax credits between April 6 2013 and February 15 2016 at addresses in Dundee.
She had claimed that she was a single parent while she had in fact been maintaining a common household with and receiving financial assistance from Davin Henehan, who was in paid employment.
The case was adjourned until May for reports.
