Dundee man demanded £200 to not tell man’s family he had sexual activity with a child

Robbie Brown, 26, of Rosebank Street, admitted trying to get a man to give him £200 or he would tell the man’s family and friends that he had been involved in sexual activity with a child.

Sentence was deferred until November 22 after Brown admitted that on July 3, at Valgreen Court and at Westcroft Road, he repeatedly sent social media messages to the man and telephoned him, causing menace, fear and alarm and apprehension, and attempted to extort £200 from him.
