A 30-year-old man fought in a residential street in Dundee in front of young children.
Craig Fisher, of Duncraig Road, was charged with conducting himself in a disorderly manner following the incident on Ravenscraig Road.
The charge, which he admitted at the sheriff court, stated he shouted, swore, engaged in a fight and committed a breach of the peace on July 7
Fiscal depute Trina Sinclair told the court Fisher was in a friend’s home when an argument broke out.
She said: “The argument escalated into a fight and spilled out onto the street where there were juveniles outside playing at the time.”
Police then received calls from neighbours about the fight.
Solicitor Jim Caird said Fisher himself accepted “he should not have behaved like that”. Fisher initially denied the charge but pleaded guilty as the case was set to go to trial.
Sentence was deferred until September 3 for good behaviour.
