A Dundee woman who launched a modelling career three years ago at the age of 33 has just signed a contract with a major new modelling agency.
Elaine Harris, 35, has also been signed up as the face of new luxury yacht company Glider Yachts and has shoots lined up in Cannes, Monaco and Dubai.
The beauty queen, originally from Forfar, was a finalist in Top Model UK 2014 – and joined the grand finalists selection panel for 2015.
She entered the competition using pictures taken during a photoshoot she arranged six months after the birth of her daughter as motivation to get back into shape.
“I thought I would try my luck and enter, not in my wildest dreams did I think out of over 4000 entries I would make it all the way through to the finals’ said Elaine.
Although she did not win the work offers came flooding in and she took the decision to quit her marketing job and become a model full-time.
A year later she was asked to return to the competition, this time as a judge.
She said: “ “To walk down the catwalk as a judge only one year to the date that I had walked as a model showed how far I had come in such a short space of time’.
She said: “‘My life has changed so much and I feel very blessed to be on this amazing journey. I am going to enjoy every minute of it.”
