A Fife eatery has been named the Best Fish and Chip Shop at the Fife Retail Business Awards for the third year in a row.
The Central Cafe in Cupar scooped the gong at a ceremony at the Keavil House Hotel in Dunfermline on Sunday evening.
Judging in the category is based on online customer nominations, mystery shop visits and a personal interview with the judges during normal opening hours.

Paul Caira, from the Central Cafe, said: “I am almost lost for words. My staff and I have worked so hard this year to continually look for ways to improve what we do. Above all we sharply focus on great food, fantastic service and good value for money.
“Our customers’ patronage is hugely appreciated.”
