A helicopter has resumed the search for missing Perth man Iain Guthrie.
The 20-year-old was reported missing days before Christmas amid fears he may have gone into the River Tay.
A major air and sea search was launched after a man was reported in the water on December 19.
On Thursday morning, police took to the skies once again. The chopper was seen circling the river in the city centre area for about an hour.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed the operation was part of the ongoing missing persons inquiry, but she said it was not as a result of any new information about Mr Guthrie’s disappearance.
