Dundee United add English attacker Nicholls

Dundee United have done some late night transfer deadline day business by signing attacker Alex Nicholls from Barnet.

The 29-year-old can operate as a central striker or on the wing and has signed up at Tannadice until the end of the season.

The deal is subject to international clearance, but that should prove no more than a formality.

It’s a first move outside of England for Nicholls, whose career has been spent in the lower divisions down south.
