Love Island winner Amber Gill has said she may move to Ireland to be with her boyfriend Greg O’Shea.
The beauty therapist made the revelation on the reunion show on Sunday.
Host Caroline Flack was quizzing the pair about their long distance romance, and Greg insisted it was “easier than it seems”, with daily, cheap flights.
However, Amber chimed in: “I might move to Ireland.”
Greg looked stunned as the crowd cheered.
The pair said it had still not sunk in that they had won the ITV2 show.
“We’re always looking at each other and saying ‘We won, won!’” said Amber. “It’s mad.”
“I don’t understand how it has happened really,” added Greg.
Amber said the highlight of the series for her had been the first date with Greg, which lifted her up after the turmoil of her relationship with Michael Griffiths.
“I had lost hope,” she said.
“I was like, I’m never going to find an instant connection, this is the worst thing I’ve ever done and then you walked in.”
The pair said they were planning to be “sensible” with their £50,000 prize money.
The reunion episode also included interviews with other islanders, such as runners up Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, Maura Higgins, Amy Hart, Curtis Pritchard, Yewande Biala and Danny Williams.
Anna Vakili’s row with Jordan Hames was voted the OMG Moment of the series, and Craig David sent in a video message for Anton Danyluk, who is a big fan of the DJ and almost cried when he performed for the contestants in the villa.
Narrator Iain Stirling said this year’s crop of contestants were “categorically the best ones yet” as so many of them “went rogue”.
He said the fact the couples kept changing made his job interesting.
“None of you would stay together, which was good for me,” he said.
“I had no idea who’d be with who from one day to the next.. it was crazy and I loved it.”
Love Island has been a huge hit, with millions of people tuning in for the couplings, dumpings and drama.
It has been announced that next year the show will run for two series.
