Hard rock bands show soft side in video messages to Montrose musician

Some of the biggest hard rock bands in the world have shown their softer side by appearing a in a “get well soon” video dedicated to Montrose musician.
Lewis Paton, who plays bass with Angus band If All Else Fails, suffers from Crohn’s Disease, a form of inflammatory bowel disease.
There is no cure of the condition but medication can be used to treat some of the symptoms.
Lewis’s condition deteriorated in September and he has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
To cheer him up, his bandmates put together a video featuring a host of British and American heavy metal stars wishing him a speedy recovery.Post by If All Else Fails.Among the legends of rock who agreed to take part in the video include Nigel Glocker from Saxon, Jared MacEachern from Machinehead, Ryan Morgan from metalcore group Misery Signals and John Joseph, lead singer of legendary US hardcore punk band The Cro-Mags.
The video was made to coincide with Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week.
If All Else Fails released their debut album in August. It made the top 10 of the iTunes metal chart within an hour of its release.
