ByThe Courier Reporter
An Angus man who was kicked out of a house party threatened police officers because he was unhappy the celebration was over, a court heard.
Alan Hunter from Brechin had been thrown out of a house on the town’s St Andrew Street last year after suffering a “bloody nose” inside.
The 21-year-old admitted causing a breach of the peace on July 27 in that he repeatedly shouted, swore, challenged people to a fight, uttered threats, kicked a door, and then repeatedly shouted, swore and uttered threats to police officers, challenged them to a fight and struggled with them.
Sheriff Simon Collins fined Hunter, of the town’s High Street, £250.
