Teenagers in Angus heard about the importance of making a difference from an Argentinian visitor.
The Rotary Club of Kirriemuir hosted Rotary Peace fellow Luciana Storelli-Castro, who now lives in England.
Ms Storelli-Castro spoke to the senior pupils at Webster’s High School on her role and stressed how they should look to become involved in projects which make a difference.
Rotarian Derrick Shearer gave her a tour of the area, including a visit to RRS Discovery in Dundee where she enjoyed finding out about the Antarctic exploration.
She then went up Dundee Law for a vista of the city and returned to Kirriemuir via Glamis Castle.
Ms Storelli-Castro is studying for a Master’s Degree in African Peace and Conflict Studies at Bradford University.
She has been involved with Rotary for more than 10 years and has just returned from setting up ladies’ football teams in a Liberian refugee camp.
