The last awards ceremony at Angus College before its merger with Dundee College took place on Friday.
Almost 400 students received their qualifications at Webster Theatre in Arbroath High Street. The ceremony also marked the last formal duty for college principal John Burt, who will step down after 17 years in the role.
He said: “You are the final graduates of Angus College, after 57 years of service to our community.
“To be here today and achieve your goal of achieving a recognised qualification, progressing to higher education or generally improving your life choices you have had to show remarkable resilience, self-motivation, energy and enterprise.”
The guest of honour at the ceremony was Graham Hay, the chairman of the Angus College board of governors. It was also the last ceremony for depute principal Jackie Howie, who will step down on November 1.
