A pedestrian is recovering at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after being hit by a car in the city during rush hour. The 69-year-old man suffered head injuries in the accident, which happened at the junction of Dura Street and Albert Street at around 6pm. However, Police Scotland confirmed that the man’s injuries are not deemed to be life threatening. The road outside the Stobswell Bar was sealed off by four police vehicles and traffic in both directions was diverted. The pedestrian was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported to Ninewells as a precaution.
