Bakery van crashes into front of Broughty Ferry pharmacy

Businesses in Broughty Ferry sustained damage this morning when a delivery vehicle collided with the front of shops.
The Wallace Family Bakersvehicle struck the front of the McPherson Pharmacy in Gray Street around 6am causing some damage to the frontage, while the window of a hairdressers was also smashed.
The driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital as a precaution but his injuries are not serious.
Part of his load of rolls was left strewn on the road as a result of the accident, while the railway barriers also sustained some damage.
They remained closed for around three hours before engineers were satisfied that they were safe.
