One of the rapid chargers will be based at the council’s Clepington Road depot to serve its growing fleet of environmentally-friendly vehicles. The location of the other one is yet to be decided, but consideration will be given to placing it somewhere accessible to the public. A Transport Scotland grant will meet the purchase costs.
