IT overhaul means it is ‘cash only’ at many Dundee attractions this weekend

The Olympia is one of the venues that will be affected.
An “essential” overhaul of IT systems will cause disruption at leisure centres across Dundee at the weekend.
Card payments will be unavailable and internet access and phone coverage will be patchy at a number of Leisure and Culture Dundee venues on Saturday and Sunday.
Entry will be on a “cash only” basis at the Olympia Leisure Centre, Dundee Ice Arena, Camperdown Wildlife Centre and the DISC, Lynch and Douglas Sports Centres.
The Camperdown and Caird Park Golf Courses and Grove and St Paul’s Swim and Sports Centres will also be affected, as will the gift shop and cafe at The McManus.
Online and phone bookings for adult fitness classes will be unavailable. Users of city libraries will also find internet and PC access temporarily suspended,
