Three more Dundee men are facing criminal charges after a clash between rival fans at an European football match.
A violent disturbance broke out at Tannadice during Dundee United’s Europa League match against Dinamo Moscow in August.
The three, aged 23, 29 and 31, are expected to appear before a sheriff.
The arrests bring to seven the number of men charged by Tayside Police, whose investigation is being aided by the Football Coordination Unit for Scotland. CCTV images and photographs taken during the match have been studied.
A police spokesman said: ”Seven men were arrested and charged in relation to Offensive Behaviour at Regulated Football Matches offences.”
It is understood officers are making further inquiries into the incident and there may be more arrests.
Sergeant Andy Wilson, who has been leading the probe, said football crowd trouble was something the force did not want to see happen again in the city.
He said: ”It’s unacceptable behaviour. It puts other fans at risk and ruins the experience for those there to enjoy the football.”
