Mid Scotland and Fife candidate Andrew Rodger launched his election manifesto with a hint of humour.
The independent candidate, who has been a Fife councillor for almost two decades, has been taking to the streets in the run-up to May 5 and has been entertaining the passing public by playing Abba’s hit Take A Chance On Me.
While Mr Rodger hopes to put a smile back on people’s faces with his choice of tunes, he stressed that he is serious about his manifesto and hopes to have a good showing at next month’s polls.
“My priorities are to reduce cancer waiting times for the people of Mid Scotland and Fife and fight to retain our council care homes as they are the best in Scotland, and I have an alternative financial plan that can keep our homes,” he said.
“I want to keep our police numbers high to stop the blight of anti-social behaviour in our communities and fight for more teachers in our classrooms.”
