Clients of a Kirkcaldy sports therapist have been urged to speak to police over a fortnight after she was found dead in her flat.
Jennifer Edwards, 45, was discovered at the property in Deas Wharf during the early hours of Sunday 14 June.
Despite a post-mortem examination, police continue to treat the fatality as “unexplained” with officers having maintained a presence outside of the block of flats ever since.
Detective Inspector David Pinkney said: “We are still working to establish the full circumstances of Jennifer’s death and are eager to gather as much information as possible.
“Anyone with information regarding Jennifer’s last days is asked to contact police immediately.”
Understood to have originally been from New Zealand, Ms Edwards worked a sports massage therapist from her property in the town’s waterfront area.
Police are now appealing for information regarding any last sightings of the mother of two, which may have occurred between Tuesday, June 9, and Saturday, June 13.
A tribute from her family, issued by police, said: “We are devastated by the loss of Jennifer, who was a much loved mother, daughter and sister.
“She was an intelligent and talented musician and sports therapist who has travelled the world with her gift.
“We are supportive of Police Scotland’s investigation into the circumstances of Jennifer’s death.
“We also ask that our privacy be respected at this difficult time”.
Anybody with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
