A Forfar woman has admitted tattooing three boys under the age of 18.
On Thursday Tiffany Stewart (22), Glenmoy Terrace, pleaded guilty by letter at Forfar Sheriff Court of tattooing a 14-year-old, 15-year-old and 16-year-old contrary to the Tattooing of Minors Act 1969, which makes it illegal to tattoo under-18s.
The incidents took place at her home on December 29 and 30. Depute fiscal Hannah Kennedy said Stewart had the tattoo equipment there, adding, “There could have been an issue with the health and safety of the boys.”
Sheriff Kevin Veal deferred sentence until March 31 for Stewart to make a personal appearance.
