Dundee FC have unveiled a special third kit they will wear to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Loos.
The city will lead the national commemorations of the battle marking the city’s unique sacrifice and Dundee had already announced they will be giving away 3,000 tickets to Scotland’s ex-service and serving men and women for the September 26 match against Ross County.
Now the club has released images of the special Black Watch-inspired strip the Dark Blues will wear which includes the regiment’s tartan, badge and motto ‘Nemo Me Impune Lacessit’ (“No One Provokes Me With Impunity”).
The shirt will be on sale in limited numbers from the club shop. It is also available to pre-order from the Dundee Direct website.
