Scottish singer Sandi Thom has cancelled her scheduled performance at the Gardyne Theatre tonight.
The singer, who shot to fame with I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair), has been ordered to rest by doctors because she is pregnant and has low blood pressure and iron levels.
She told her followers on Twitter: “So sorry to all the peeps who bought tickets to Dundee & Chester. Promise to make it up next year. For now, doc has me resting til better.”
Thom hit the headlines a few weeks ago when she posted an expletives-filled video on social media attacking BBC Radio 2’s decision not to include her new single in their latest playlists.
