ByThe Courier Reporter
Police in Fife have arrested a teenager as part of an ongoing effort to target the illegal use of quad bikes and motorcycles in the Levenmouth area.
As part of Operation Reflector, officers say they have charged an 18-year-old man for driving an off-road motorbike in Laburnum Road, Methil, on Monday, November 2, at around 3pm.
He has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for disqualified driving, no insurance and for not wearing a helmet.
Sergeant Robert Gassner said: “Operation Reflector continues to address the problem and detect people who drive off road motorcycles illegally.
“People engaged in this type of activity are a danger to themselves and also members of the public.”
