Nearly 90 young hopefuls flocked to Perth Theatre on Sunday to audition for roles in Jack and the Beanstalk.
Chasing 18 parts in the traditional fun-filled pantomime’s all singing and dancing ensemble, the nine to 14-year-olds took part in a selection workshop run by panto director and choreographer Andrew Panton.
He said: ”We were amazed at the turnout and level of interest and commitment shown by these gifted young folk.”
Successful cast members will be informed within the next week.
The show runs from December 9 until January 7.
