Scotlands leading equestrian event drew to a close in Perthshire on Sunday. This year marked the 26th anniversary of the four-day Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair. Olympic medallists and amateurs competed in four international event classes, while British Showjumping and showing classes provided a platform for riders in other disciplines to compete at Blair. The Bruadar Country Fair ran alongside the equestrian activities on Saturday and Sunday, featuring displays of both traditional and more modern countryside pursuits. A temporary shopping village at the site housed numerous attractions, with more than 200 stands for the 40,000 visitors to the event to enjoy.
