Thieves have made off with a 3ft crocodile head from a garden in Perth.
The ornamental sculpture was taken sometime between June 6 and 7.
Police are now appealing for information.
The “unusual” theft was highlighted by Chief Inspector Ian Scott in his weekly bulletin.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “We are appealing for information after thieves made off with gardens ornaments from Dunsinane Drive, Perth sometime between 2am on June 6 and 3pm on June 7.
“A clay crocodile head and a stone head with feathers were stolen.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
