Tributes have been paid to devoted St Johnstone fan Les Murison, who has died aged just 58.
Les followed his beloved club home and away on a weekly basis and enjoyed a number of memorable trips to cheer on Saints in the Europa League.
The Perth club’s tie with Turkish side Eskisehirspor in 2012 saw Les make long-lasting friendships with his fellow football fans.
Following the game in 2012 Les returned to the city of Eskisehir to continue the bond between the two clubs.
He also welcomed Turkish supporters to Perth and McDiarmid Park as well as showing them around Scotland.

Saints chairman Steve Brown said: “It’s always sad to learn of the passing of any of our supporters and Les is no exception.
“Les did more than anyone at supporter level to keep the bond between Saints and our Turkish friends at Eskisehirspor strong and I and others at the club were in his company very recently when he hosted a group of fans from Turkey.
“He welcomed them to the country, brought them to the stadium and took them touring all around Scotland.
“It makes his passing so soon after that happy event all the more poignant and the thoughts of everyone at the club are with his family at this time.”

Tributes were paid to Les, who leaves behind wife Janie, on social media and football forums.
BBC Radio Scotland presenter and fellow Saints fan Stuart Cosgrove said: “Rest in peace Les. We have known each other a lifetime as neighbours in Strathtay Road and as passionate Saints fans, here, there and everywhere. You were a true fan.”
Erdin Gunduz wrote: “His friends in Eskisehir will remember him as a very good supporter of St Johnstone Football Club and a very good friend of Eskisehirspor.
“Our friends out there, please accept our condolences.”
Saints fan Jim Eccleston added: “A true Saintee no more passionate than Les. And he did more than anyone to foster our great relationship with our Turkish friends.”
Eskisehirspor have posted their own tribute, in a message which describes Saints as a “sister club”.
It adds that the Turkish side learned of Les’s death “with deep sorrow”.
Les died on Friday. His funeral will take place on Monday December 14 in Perth Crematorium at 2pm. All who knew him are welcome.
Those attending are free to wear whatever attire they wish, with St Johnstone FC and/or Eskisehirspor strips and scarves much appreciated.
