The seven-year-old was walking with his five-year-old brother in Rannoch Road at around 7.30pm on Monday when the accident happened. Police say the boy suffered a minor injury to his arm and did not need hospital treatment. Officers are now appealing for witnesses as they look to trace the driver of a silver car.
