ByThe Courier Reporter
A man has admitted threatening members of the public with a bottle on Perth’s South Street.
Aaron de Schafta, 23, was caught on CCTV on January 21 as he kicked the door of the Salvation Army charity shop, before ripping banners from the Auld Hoose pub and kicking the door of a Gregg’s bakery.
He was also witnessed approaching members of the public in an “intimidating” manner while brandishing a glass bottle. He acted in an aggressive manner to police officers, who reacted by arresting him.
He pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner and for committing breach of the peace. Sheriff Lindsay Foulis deferred sentence for reports.
